Medical marijuana products are being distributed by LSU and GB Sciences to the nine licensed pharmacies across the state on Tuesday.

Two more mass shootings in the U-S this past weekend brings the total to 251 this year according to the Gun Violence Archive. Twelve of those mass shootings occurred in Louisiana based on the data they released. Three of the incidents happened in Shreveport, one in Alexandria and the rest in southeast Louisiana.
