the prosecution rested their case Tuesday in the LSU Fraternity hazing death trial. Toxicology expert Dr. Patricia Williams took the stand and stated that the Max Gruver’s blood alcohol concentration was point-four—nine-five-percent. Williams said Gruver was a dead man walking. Gruver died during a Phi Delta Theta initiation ritual in 2017. Matthew Naquin is on trial for negligent homicide.

 

A suspect is behind bars in the murder of Baton Rouge African American History Museum founder Sadie Roberts-Joseph, who was found dead in the trunk of her car. The coroner says Roberts-Joseph was suffocated. The victim’s daughter, Angela Roberts-Machen praises the work of law enforcement.
