Longtime UL-Lafayette baseball coach Tony Robichaux is in the hospital after suffering a heart attack. Ragin Cajuns athletics spokesperson Patrick Crawford says Robichaux underwent open heart surgery at Lafayette General and it was a successful medical procedure. He says the doctors expect Robichaux to make a full recovery…

The LSU baseball team’s schedule is set for their three days in Houston when they compete in the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic. The Tigers will face Texas on Friday, February 28th, Baylor on Saturday at 3 PM and Oklahoma at 11 AM on Sunday.

Michigan can win its first national championship in college baseball tonight with a win over Vanderbilt. The Wolverines defeated the Commodores seven to four last night in game one of the C-W-S Series.

And the Pelicans made it official today as they announced Todd Graffagnini as its new radio play-by-play announcer. Graffagnini has been the voice of the Tulane Green Wave for the last 12 years.
