In other action tonight, Louisiana Tech looks to snap an eight game road losing streak when they face Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton. The Owls won the first matchup between the two teams 69-61.

In the NBA, after beating the Jazz on Monday night, New Orleans hosts Utah tonight for a 7 PM tip. The Pelicans have won three straight.

After getting swept by Texas this past weekend, the 10th ranked LSU baseball team returns home tonight to host Holy Cross, who has just one win on the season. Sophomore right-hander Ma’Khail Hilliard makes his first start of the season. In two relief appearances, he’s pitched three scoreless innings. First pitch is at 6:30.

Also today, Southeastern Louisiana hosts ULM. The Lions beat the Warhawks 10-3 yesterday. The Cajuns are at McNeese after beating Nicholls three to one last night. The Colonels visit South Alabama.

In Southland Conference basketball action tonight, McNeese must beat Texas A-and-M Corpus Christi if it wants to reach the Southland Conference Tournament. The Pokes have lost eight straight games to the Islanders. Nicholls and Northwestern State are also in must win situations. They play each other in Thibodaux. UNO and Southeastern Louisiana battle for third place in a meeting in Hammond.

At the state boys basketball tournament, Bossier has advanced and the Bearkats will play Breaux Bridge on Friday night in the Class 4A championship game.
