Saints defensive lineman David Onyemata could be facing some penalties from the league after police say the tackle’s apartment was found to have some pot, cannabis oil, a few edibles, and hemp power. Jefferson Parish Sherriff Joe Lopinto says the search was triggered by a seizure of a package headed to Onyemata’s residence.

Lopinto says during and after the raid the Black and Gold stalwart did not cause a fuss, and was cooperative.

The tackle was sacked with a misdemeanor citation for the incident.

Tonight the Ragin Cajuns take on the Georgia State Panthers at 8pm in Laffy. The Cajuns are 4-6 in conference play so far and have sputtered through a three game losing streak.

ULM will also be playing tonight at 7pm. The Warhawks take on Georgia Southern in Monroe. ULM is 5-5 in conference play.

Number 21 LSU is chasing the number 1 ranked SEC leading Vols and will try to keep pace with a win over Auburn tomorrow. The Tigers are one spot back of Tennessee who’s been on a 17 game win streak, but are favored in Saturday’s matchup against Auburn, who sits 5-4 in conference play.

The Southeastern Lions are also set to tip off tomorrow against Central Arkansas. The Lions are 6-4 in conference play and sitting 4th after a rough start to the season that saw them sitting near the bottom.
