Theriot was arrested Sunday morning in the driveway of his grandmother’s home in Virginia.

The attorney for Roy Hebron plans to appeal a state appellate court’s decision that says he can’t serve as the mayor of Ball in Rapides Parish, because of a newly approved constitutional amendment that prohibits some felons from running or holding elected offices. But Hebron’s attorney, Charles Elliot, says his client was elected before the constitutional amendment went into effect…
