Three people were killed around midnight last night, including a two-year-old child, when a pickup truck ended up submerged in Bayou LaFourche in Golden Meadow. The victims have been identified as Michael Barthelemy of Galliano, two year old Trisha Bartheelmy and 17-year-old Zackary Cheramie of Golden Meadow.

Authorities say an arrest has been made in the shooting death of 17-year-old Chandler Erskine of Oak Grove. 21-year-old James Turner of West Monroe was taken into custody and charged with second-degree murder.
