The reward has been doubled to 25-hundred dollars for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for killing a woman and her 13-year-old son on Sunday in the town of Independence. Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards believes the shooter knew the mother and son.
