LSU is number 10 in the latest College Football playoff rankings which puts them in position to play in either the Fiesta or Peach Bowl. Palm says LSU could be knocked out of contention for a New Year’s Six Bowl if, Northwestern beats Ohio State in the Big 10 championship or if Pittsburgh upsets Clemson in the ACC title game.

Palm has Louisiana Tech going to the New Orleans Bowl to face the winner of Saturday’s Sun Belt Championship game between the Cajuns and Appalachian State. But there’s another report showing Louisiana Tech heading to the Hawaii Bowl to face old WAC rival Hawaii.

The loser of the Sun Belt Game goes to the Cure Bowl in Orlando.
