Congressman Ralph Abraham says soybean farmers are having issues with accessing the Market Facilitation Program, originally designed to help farmers, to offset losses caused by Chinese tariffs. He says the only step being take right now, is a bill that he’s pushing that alters the payment structure for the MFP.

Abraham says soybean farms should not be forced to bear the heaviest burden caused by market disruptions.

New video has surfaced that shows the encounter between LSU offensive analyst Steve Kragthorpe and Texas A-and-M’s Cole Fisher following Saturday’s record setting seven overtime thriller. The video shows Fisher shoving Kragthorpe and then taking a swing at Kevin Faulk who is also on LSU’s staff. The SEC has fined A-and-M 50-thousand dollars for allowing its fans to storm the field.
