Four different phone bomb threats to Pineville area businesses beginning a few days before Christmas. This created huge headaches for employees and customers. The Town Talk reports a couple of calls came in to Walmart on Highway 165, along with others to CVS and Radio Shack. The stores had to be closed and searched.

Twenty-three-year-old Chesmond Paris of Lafayette is charged with second degree murder.

 

In Shreveport, police have arrested another person in connection with an early Friday morning shooting that left an Arkansas man dead. 21-year-old Demarcus Gladney of Bossier City is charged with one count of illegal use of a weapon. Sgt. Bill Gooden says this deadly incident began when a group of teens were kicked out of a Christmas party at a local hotel for fighting…
