The Dome was rockin yesterday as the Saints jumped to the number one seed in the NFC with a 45-35 victory over the previously unbeaten LA Rams. The win means the road to the Super Bowl in the NFC currently runs through NOLA, QB Drew Brees.

It was another big game for Brees, who threw for 346 yards and four touchdowns as he continued to build his M-V-P resume.
Elsewhere…Carolina won again to stay within one game of the Saints in the NFC South as the Panthers defeated Bucs 42-28. The Falcons are 4-4 now after beating Washington 38-14. Matt Ryan threw four TD passes.
The Pelicans end a five-game road trip tonight in Oklahoma City. New Orleans will try to snap a five-game losing streak. The Pels have struggled on the defensive end. Tip-off is at 7 PM.
LSU’s losing streak versus Alabama has reached eight, after a 29-0 loss on Saturday night. Coach Ed Orgeron says for the Tigers to finally beat the Crimson Tide, they need to get better in the trenches…
