A former state representative from North Dakota has died from a bacterial infection after eating raw oysters at a New Orleans restaurant. That’s according to the Bismark Tribune. 58-year-old Rae Anne Kelsh died at New Orleans hospital after serving 22 years in the North Dakota House. Health officials say eating raw or undercooked oysters can cause serious illness or even death.
