Brees says considering what happened last year, this win meant a little more than others.

Despite allowing 423 yards, the Saints defense was probably the star of the night, with four sacks, including two from rookie Marcus Davenport, an interception return for a touchdown from PJ Williams, and a play early in the game that Coach Sean Peyton credits for being the play that turned the game.

Next Sunday the Saints take on the undefeated Rams in a game that will have huge ramifications for playoff seeding.

The hype really begins building today for the Top 5 match-up between LSU and Alabama on Saturday night. The Crimson Tide are a 14.5 favorite, it’s the biggest point spread where LSU is the underdog at Tiger Stadium in the last 20 years. ESPN College Gameday will be in town for the big game.

The Ragin Cajuns scored a touchdown with over a minute left to beat Arkansas State 47-43 on Saturday night. The win moves UL-Lafayette into a first place tie with ULM for first place in the Sun Belt Western Division. The Cajuns started out fast in this game, scoring three touchdowns in the first quarter.
