A northeast Louisiana music legend has passed away. Oak Grove’s Tony Joe White died suddenly from a heart attack at the age of 75. White wrote Rainy Night in Georgia, Polk Salad Annie and local favorite Saturday Nite in Oak Grove, Louisiana. A Rapides Parish elementary school teacher has been arrested for possession of alcohol on public school property after an assistant principal noticed she was displaying odd behavior.
