The Carolina Panthers have signed former LSU standout Eric Reid. The safety has been waiting to sign with a team since the 49ers decided against re-signing him. Reid believed he was out of work because of his national anthem protests while playing in San Francisco.

After battling with LSU into the 4th quarter last week, La Tech will jump into Conference USA play this Saturday by facing one of the best teams in the league. North Texas is 4-0 and that includes a blowout win over Arkansas. Bulldogs Coach Skip Holtz says the Mean Green do a lot of things well…

McNeese State is 2-0 and they will host Stephen F Austin on Saturday night. The Lumberjacks are coming off a three-point win over Abilene Christian. McNeese has not defeated Stephen F at home since 2012.
