What a hard fought victory for the Saints yesterday as they outlasted the Atlanta Falcons 43-37 in overtime as Quarterback Drew Brees threw for 39 yards and two passing touchdowns. But it was Brees’ legs that proved to be the difference in this one. He scored the winning touchdown when he leaped over the line of scrimmage for a one-yard score. The 4-0 Tigers defeated Louisiana Tech 38-21 on Saturday, but LSU’s defense gave up 330 yards passing and allowed the Bulldogs to convert nine times on 18-third down chances.
