LSU announced today they’ll host Army for a football game on October 21, 2023. It will only be the second meeting between the two schools. They last met in 1931 and the Black Knights posted a 20-0 win over over the Olde War School in West Pointe, New York.

The SEC announced today there will be a visible television timeout countdown clock on the field at all 14 SEC on-campus venues for this season. It will let the teams, game officials and fans know how much time is left in a commercial break. When the display reaches zero, the game officials will make the ball ready for play. The clock will make its debut on Thursday night when Texas A-and-M hosts Northwestern State.

The Saints final preseason game is Thursday night when they host the L-A Rams. Once that game is over, the Black and Gold must cut their roster to 53 by 3:00 on Saturday.
