The depth chart is in and Joe Burrow will start for the Tigers at quarterback on Sunday night against eighth ranked Miami. Coach Ed Orgeron held off on publicly announcing a starter when he met with the media earlier today, because he wanted to tell the team first. Coach O says after grading the two, they found a winner.

The 2018 Atlantic hurricane season has delivered on its projections for below-average or near normal storm activity.  The season has only produced five named storms with two becoming hurricanes.  The hurricanes fizzled out in the Atlantic.  With nearly a month and a half without a hurricane, we could be in the clear, but State Climatologist Berry Keim says don’t celebrate just yet.

18-year-old Louisiana Tech pilot Mason Andrews, who’s on his way to being the youngest person to ever circumnavigate the globe in a plane, is stuck in place at the moment. Intense monsoons have blanketed the region of India he’s parked in, grounding the young pilot for almost a week. His father, Jeb, says he’ll be on his way to Thailand after the weather clears up. Andrews left for his trip August 1st, with an expected trip time of 40 days.
