According to a new study by the American Federation of Teachers, Louisiana spends over one billion dollars less on education, when adjusted for inflation, than it did prior to the recession of 2008. According to court records, prosecutors have learned Sean-Paul Gott and Ryan Matthew Isto were involved another suspected hazing incident days before Gruver’s seath.

In Bossier Parish, a man and a woman have been arrested after they allegedly forced a 13-year-old girl to smoke met in a hotel room. Authorities say 27-year-old Bryan Smiley of Haughton also had sex with the teenage victim. 42-year-old Shelly Carey of Bossier City has also been charged with third degree rape.
