The Saints will hold a minicamp from June 12th to the 14th at the team’s training facility in Metairie. It will be open to the public each day, weather permitting, starting at 11 AM.

SEC schools voted for a new rule that allows graduate transfers if they transfer to another school within the conference to be eligible immediately. In recent years, Georgia’s Maruice Smith and Florida’s Malik Zaire needed a waiver to receive immediate eligibility. And Alabama head coach Nick Saban recently attempted to block offensive lineman Brandon Kennedy.

LSU baseball is battling San Diego State this afternoon in the opening game of the Corvallis Regional. Tonight at 9:00 it’s the Northwestern State versus Oregon State. The Demons will send former Ridge Heisler to the mound. He’s 7-2 with an ERA just above three. The Beavers are a number three national seed and they are led at the plate by Trevor Larnach, who is hitting .324, 17 home runs and 64 RBIs.

LSU Eunice is one victory away from winning a record sixth national junior college division two championship. The Bengals face Parkland tonight at 7 PM as they look to win the best of three series two games to nothing. Last night, L-S-U-E won nine to five as Cameron Horton and Koi Westbrook each hit three-run home runs.

LSU basketball coach Will Wade has added two junior college transfers to fill out the rest of his roster for the 2018-19 season. The Tigers have signed six-foot-one guard Danya Kingsby from College of Southern Idaho and six-foot-nine power forward Courtese Cooper from Triton College in Illinois. Kingsby averaged 13 points a game last season, while Cooper averaged 10 points a contest at Triton.
