An explosion at the Proctor and Gambling manufacturing plant in Alexandria claimed the life of a Jena man. The incident occurred around 3AM and involved a forklift. Fire Marshal Spokesperson Ashley Rodrigue says the explosion was contained to the incident area.
Law enforcement will be ramping up their Click it Or Ticket seatbelt awareness and ticketing campaign over the Memorial Day weekend, to remind drivers about road safety. A recent survey showed 13 percent of drivers do not wear one.
