Dating back to the regular season, New Orleans has won six straight games. But they need to do better job of rebounding, they allowed Portland to grab 15 offensive rebounds that led to 21 chance points. Tip-off is at 9:30.

The LSU baseball team has moved up four spots to number 19 in the latest D-1-Baseball Top 25. Also, Tigers senior Austin Bain has been named SEC Co-Player of the week. He was 8-for-15 at the plate with eight runs driven in. He also recorded one save as well. LSU is at Tulane tomorrow night.

McNeese catcher Dustin Duhon has been named this week’s Southland Conference hittoer of the week. In four games at the plate, Duhon was 11-for-16 at the plate and helped the Cowboys sweep U-N-O this past weekend. McNeese begins a four-game homestand tonight when they host Houston Baptist in a non-conference contest. The Pokes are 16-and-20.

The 19-and-15 Northwestern State demons Lamar tonight in Natchitoches. Northwestern already owns two victories over Lamar this season.

Southeasetern Louisiana hosts 13th ranked Southern Miss in Hammond. The Lions have lost five of their last six. First pitch is at 6 PM.

In the high school softball playoffs, Class 5-A….21st seeded Denham Springs defeated 12th seeded Ruston 7-5. Also, 18th seeded East Ascension outscored 15th seeded Pineville 18-5.
