It was a feisty Senate debate last night between democratic incumbent Mary Landrieu and republican challenger Bill Cassidy. The Senator attacked Cassidy for getting taxpayer dollars for work as an LSU doctor that he allegedly did not fully earn. The 85 year old woman from Pollock who was mauled by dogs last week has died. The Grant Parish Sheriff’s office says Bobbie Cheveallier (shuh-VAHL-yay) injuries were so severe she had to have her legs amputated but she succumbed to her injuries Monday evening. Cops are still trying to identify the attack dogs using DNA.

If you loved the low gas prices for the Thanksgiving Holiday travel, get ready for a gallon of regular to possibly drop below $2 in Louisiana. The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s office says they are still looking for two men they believe abducted and shot a woman on Thanksgiving Day. Spokesman Sergeant Clay Higgins says the victim reported she left her house that morning to walk to a nearby store when she accepted a ride from the suspects…:
