After losing 109 to 104 to the Oklahoma City Thunder last night, the Pelicans have fallen to the eighth spot in the Western Conference standings, just one game ahead of Denver. New Orleans committed 21 turnovers and the Thunder were led by Russell Wesbrook who had 27 points, while Paul George had 26. Anthony Davis had 25 for the Pels.

It appears Les Miles coaching career is over as very few schools have shown interest in the Mad Hatter. But a new career for the former LSU coach is developing and that is acting. Patrick Mulhearn, a Senior Director at Louisiana Economic Development, says being a team player will take him far in the business…

After three weekends of SEC play, the LSU Tigers are 5-4 in league play, one game behind SEC West leader Ole Miss. Freshman Ma’Khail Hilliard has been the Tigers best pitcher. He’s 5-1 with a 0.76 ERA. The right-hander from Central says he’s even surprised with how this season has gone…

LSU is back in action on Tuesday night as the Tigers host the Colonels.

Louisiana Tech is a top the Conference USA standings as the Bulldogs took two of three from FIU. Tech was 17-and-4 in the month of March and there first game in April is tomorrow versus Grambling.

Grambling State leads the SWAC Western Division as the Tigers topped Texas Southern nine to eight yesterday.
