State Police are investigating a fatal hit and run crash this morning that claimed the life of a 25-year-old woman from St. Charles Parish. Authorities say Christin Allday of St. Rose was walking across Louisiana Highway 626, when she failed to yeild to the oncoming vehicle, which fled the scene after striking Allday, who was pronounded dead at a local hospital. The incident occurred around 1:45 this morning.
