An East Baton Rouge grand jury has indicted four young men in the alleged hazing death of Maxwell Gruver. Ten people were originally charged, but the grand jury declined to act on several of those. Matthew Naquin was indicted on negiligent homicide and three others were indicted on a hazing charge.

The Senate Labor Committee approved bills increasing the minimum wage, enacting equal pay in the private sector, and ending pay secrecy. Matt Doyle has more.

The man convicted in the road rage shooting death of former NFL player Joe McKnight was sentenced to 30 years in prison today. 56-year-old Ronald Gasser was facing 40 years for his manslaughter conviction. McKnight’s mother spoke to reporters following the sentencing…

A fired up LSU men’s basketball coach Will Wade went on a rant last night following the Tigers 84-76 win over UL Lafayette in the first round of the NIT. Cajuns Coach Bob Marlin believed the game should have been played in Lafayette, because his team had the better record and a higher R-P-I, but Wade says the N-I-T did the right thing by scheduling the game inside the Maravich Center…..
