Secretary of State Tom Schedler is set to break his silence as he’s called a 3:30 press conference at the Secretary of State’s office. Schedler has not said anything publicly since his former secretary filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him. The title of the press release says Schedler vows to fight.

Zachary Police Chief David McDavid is furious at state Judge Trudy White for lowering the bond of Albert Franklin, who was arrested Monday night for allegedly killing Christopher Lawton, a Zachary firefighter and reserve officer. McDavid says Judge White recently lowered Franklin’s bond to nine-thousand dollars for his latest arrest….

Some Louisiana schools participated in today’s national walkout against gun violence. For 17 minutes, students at some schools walked out of the classroom to demand change.
