Also Cam Sanders pitched well to get his first win and Todd Peterson recorded his first save. LSU is at UL Lafayette tonight. Lefty Colton Schmidt starts for the Cajuns, while AJ Labas makes his second start for LSU. First pitch is at 6:30.

Louisiana Tech basketball battles North Texas in the Conference USA Tournament. The Bulldogs won two tournaments during the regular season…the Cancun Challenge and the New Orleans shootout. Coach Eric Konkol hopes that experience pays off as they’ll need to win four straight games to claim the CUSA Tournament title…
