The Saints will not return to the practice field until Thursday that’s because their next game is not until Monday night, when they host the Baltimore Ravens. New Orleans heads into the final six games of the season with a 4-and-6 record, but still tied for first place in the NFC South. Coach Sean Payton says his team has to take advantage of that opportunity…

In basketball tonight….LSU will face Texas Tech in a game that can be seen on ESPN Two at 8:30. Both teams are 1-and-0 and last year the Tigers got out of Lubbock, Texas with a two-point win. The Pelicans are at Sacramento, after losing last night in Portland.

Louisiana Tech hits the road this weekend looking to improve to 7-0 in Conference USA action. The Bulldogs are at Old Dominion who is 4-and-6 overall, 2-and-4 in the league. Tech Head Coach Skip Holtz says even though the Monarchs have a losing record, they have one of the better offenses in the conference….

Former LSU Quarterback Zach Mettenberger looked good in last night’s Monday night football game, despite throwing a pick six on his first pass of the night. Mettenberger rebounded to throw for 263 yards and two touchdowns, but his Titans still lost to the Steelers 27-24.
