Louisiana State Police say a Monroe police officer was killed in a single vehicle accident early Sunday morning.  26-year-old Christopher Beaudion was driving, when for unknown reason his car veered to the left traveled across both northbound lane and struck a tree.   He was pronounced dead at the scene.  A toxicology report will be submitted.
