A cold front has crossed the state, bringing Louisiana its coldest weather of the season. State Climatologist Barry Keim says we can expect to see clouds and lingering rain through tomorrow. He says break out the sweaters and winter coats.
Keim says by Friday and over the weekend, we’ll see temperatures in the 30s in the morning with afternoon highs in the 50s. He says there’s also a chance for a light freeze across northern parishes.

Keim says even as the front moves offshore, clouds and rain will stay in the forecast.

There are many fans that want to go watch, but can’t afford to make the long trip. Tyron Dickens is trying to help raise money through his non-profit program K-9 Outreach. Dickens says donations have started coming in…
He says they hope to take two full buses to New Orleans, but they come at a cost of five-thousand-dollars each. Game ticket prices are beyond the reach of some residents and Dickens wants to show the team that the community is behind them by getting sponsors to help with travel expenses…

This is the first time since 1974 that the Rams have been involved in a state championship game. He said last week, several fans got to go to the game. He says actions like this help promote good will in the community…

The Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville is known for being haunted but it isn’t too often that visitors get to take a picture with a ghost. Tour Director Hester Eby says a group of women took a picture in the breezeway and it appears that Chloe wanted to photo bomb the selfie….
Eby says as revenge Chloe poisoned a cake that killed the owner’s wife and two children so she was hanged. She says every once in a while, Chloe is known to pop into a picture.
Eby says The Myrtles is already nationally known as a haunted house but expects the viral photo will help bring in visitors in the near future.

Louisiana Secretary of State Tom Schedler says they are looking at replacing voting machines. Schedler says tampering with the current machines is remote, but a new system would further decrease chances of tampering. He is awaiting approval from the state Division of Administration. If approved, the new touch screen system would provide better confirmation for voters…
Schedler says a new voting system would be valuable for voters who work or live away from the parish they are registered in, like college students. Schedler explains how it would work in his case, since he is a registered voter in another parish, but living in Baton Rouge as Secretary of State…
Schedler says getting a better system would help, if questions arose following an election…

There has been a lot of buzz over the Instagram post by LSU star running back Derrius Guice which says he will decide whether to enter the draft after the Citrus Bowl against Notre Dame. The junior is expected to be selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft if he leaves early. Tiger Rag Associate Editor James Moran says he would be shocked if Guice stayed another year..:
Guice said he was frustrated by a knee injury he dealt with throughout the season and said no player wants to be injured or play injured. He added he is finally 100%. Moran says Arden Key is another player likely to leave LSU and be picked in the first round. He says also expected to go pro are cornerbacks Donte Jackson and Kevin Toliver…:
