The Department of Health is improving on the number of deceased people being sent Medicaid payments, but it’s still happening. A new report from the state’s Legislative Auditor found LDH made nearly $718,000 in improper payments between July 2013 and August 2017. Performance Audit Manager Chris Magee says auditors concluded that LDH needs to further enhance it’s identification process…:

Southern Mississippi and Florida State will play in the Walk-On’s Independence Bowl in Shreveport on Wednesday December 27th. The Seminoles won’t have head coach Jimbo Fisher who left for Texas A & M. I-Bowl spokesman Stefan Nolet says they hope this game marks the beginning of better times for Florida State and their fans…:
