A 30-year old teacher at L-W Ruppel Academy for Advanced Studies in Jefferson Parish is accused of taking naked pictures and sending them via SnapChat to her 13-year-old student. Earlier this month, Viridiana Ramos of Marrero, was arrested and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile. The student alleges that Ramos started contacting him on the app in October and things escalated. At least one other student claims to have seen the naked photographs.

Investigators say from all indications, the victims didn’t try to hit the robber on purpose.
A 17-year-old student at North Webster High in Springhill has been arrested after turning himself into police for the murder of his classmate. Police Chief Will Lynd says Josh Lewis of Cotton Valley confessed to them that he shot 17-year-old Jaylen Thomas. He says this is a senseless homicide. He says crimes like this just don’t happen in Springhill.

Two people who were robbed at gunpoint outside the Radio Bar in Baton Rouge last night, killed the suspect with their vehicle, according to Baton Rouge Police. Sgt. L’Jean McKneely says after one of the robbery victims gave 33-year-old Corey Montgomery their wallet, they got into their vehicle and sped away.
