A 17-year-old student at North Webster High School in Springhill is under arrest for allegedly murdering a classmate. Springhill Police Chief Will Lynd says Josh Lewis of Cotton Valley confessed to police that he shot 17-year-old Jaylen Thomas. He says the murder sparked after a disagreement between two teens that Lewis and Thomas knew…:

Thomas’ body was found near a church. Lewis is charged with second-degree murder.

Baton Rouge Police say a man was run over by a vehicle and died after he allegedly robbed two people outside of The Radio Bar. Sgt. L’Jean McKneely says witnesses reported an unidentified 33-year-old man held the two at gunpoint, and began shooting at their vehicle. He doesn’t believe they ran over the alleged robber on purpose…:
