After finishing third in Louisiana’s US Senate primary, retired Air Force Colonel Rob Maness is is not shutting the door on another potential run for political office. Maness received over 200,000 votes in the November 4th election. He says he’d consider another run for office if he felt called to do so…

Maness had the best finish of a non-politician in a Senate race in recent memory. He has endorsed fellow Republican Bill Cassidy in December’s Senate runoff election. Maness says he and Cassidy have talked about their differences and feels he is the right person for the job…

Baton Rouge PD says an active-military officer is under arrest after allegedly trying to run over her fiance while their one year old infant was in the car. Cpl. Don Coppola says 24-year-old Mictissa Moseley (mOHz-lee) was a passenger in the vehicle when she and her fiance, who was driving, got into a huge fight…:

Coppola says Moseley demanded that her fiance, who is also an active military officer, get out of the vehicle. He says at that time the victim left the car and called for a ride…:(Moseley was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish prison for attempted second degree murder and cruelty to a juvenile.)

Coppola says while the male victim was waiting for a ride, Moseley returned at a high rate of speed and tried to run him over while the baby was inside the car. He says the suspect ended up crashing into a tree which caused the vehicle to catch fire. Coppola says when the blaze started, Moseley became concerned for the 1-year-old…:

The coldest temperatures of the fall have arrived and that could result in an increase in home fires. The American Red Cross says heating sources are the second leading cause of home fire deaths, and fatal home fires increase in the winter months. State Fire Marshal Butch Browning says if you use a space heater, make sure there’s a three feet area of space around it…
