The Saints have won seven in a row and they’ll host Washington this Sunday. And Saints special teams player Daniel Lasco will reportedly miss the rest of the season to have surgery on a bulging disc. He was taken off the field on a stretcher, but the injury is not considered life-threatening.

Tonight at the Smoothie King Center, the Pelicans host the Altanta Hawks, who have the worst record in the NBA at 2-and-11.

LSU football on some big pass plays to beat Arkansas 33-10 on Saturday. Quarterback Danny Etling threw for 217 yards and two touchdowns. Both of the TD passes went DJ Chark. The Alexandria native says their preparation going into the game paid off…

LSU basketball has received a signed national letter of intent from five star-forward Naz Reid of New Jersey. He’s listed as the number three power forward in the Class of 2018. The Tigers 2018 recruiting class already includes two four-star recruits, Javonte Smart of Baton Rouge and Dairus Days of Florida.
