State Police say a 27-year-old woman from Franklin has been arrested after causing a crash that claimed the life of a 2-year-old child who was ejected. They say Grace Loustaloot ran off the road on LA 83 last night, entered a ditch and overturned. The toddler was not properly restrained and died. Impairment is suspected, and Loustaloot’s charges include vehicular homicide.

Early voting for the November 18th election comes to a close on Saturday and the candidates for State Treasurer continue to get their message out to voters. Republican candidate John Schroder says he’s ready to take on the job to do what is the best for our state…:

Washington Parish authorities arrest the owner of a 2006 Porsche after he allegedly came up with a scheme to burn his water damaged vehicle in an effort to collect insurance money. Chief Deputy Mike Haley says the suspect is 49-year-old Gary Leblanc of Robert..:
