New data released by the Centers for Disease Control shows Baton Rouge has moved from #1 to #2 in new rankings of AIDS cases. Michelle Southern reports.

Baton Rouge Police have arrested a 24-year-old woman for allegedly trying to run over her fiance while their one-year-old was in the car. Authorities say during an argument, Mictissa Mosely began punching her fiance while he was driving. When the victim jumped out of the vehicle and tried to call a cab, Mosely tried to run over him. Mosely was booked for attempted second degree murder and cruelty to a juvenile.

State Treasurer John Kennedy is worried that Louisiana is spending way more than it’s bringing in which could lead to another round of mid-year budget cuts. Kennedy says changes need to be made otherwise mid-year budget cuts could do further damage to higher education. He says deficit spending needs to stop…
