Hilton says they also arrested Sonnier’s sister, Ebony Sonnier. She’s also facing three counts of first-degree murder. A motive was not given at today’s press conference.

The Lafayette Fire Department says a two-year-old died in a morning house fire on Kettering Circle. Officials say they attempted to rescure the toddler, but the flames were too intense. Two adults and an infant were able to escape and investigators believe the deadly blaze started in the living room.
