Grambling State University is getting beefed up security from the state in the wake of a double homicide on campus, which school officials believe was an isolated incident. GSU President Rick Gallo says it’s homecoming weekend, and they just want to take all the necessary precautions. He adds even though the gunman is at large, students should feel safe…:

Expect higher security at the Jason Aldean concert tonight in New Orleans’ Champions Square, the country artist’s first outdoor performance since the deadly Vegas mass shooting while Aldean was on stage. General Manager of the Superdome and Champion’s Square, Alan Freeman, says they are looking at the tragedy as a one-time occurrence, but safety is a top priority…:

The death of New Orleans legend Fats Domino continues to rock the music community. Jazzfest Producer Quint Davis was a friend, and says Domino was known for wearing flashy attire, and the singer’s wardrobe was incredible:
