A shooting at Grambling State University killed one student and his friend early this morning.  The shooter remains at large.  The victims were killed outside a dorm room just after midnight.  Director of Communications Will Sutton says the campus is operating as normal…

Another Grambling State student was shot last month in a separate incident.

Tulane University has received a five-year 1.8-million-dollar grant to study a possible link between traumatic stress and alcohol abuse.  Researcher Jeff Tasker says humans with post-traumatic stress disorder are more likely to abuse alcohol than the general population and this project will provide insight into why.
