The New Orleans Fire Department is investigating an early morning fire that has left 5 people dead in the Broadmoor area. The victims have been identified as 77-year-old Martha Anderson; Christina Squier; and her three children 12-year-old Jade Anderson, 11-year-old Jason Anderson, and 6-year-old Jala Anderson. The father of the children made it out of the home and called authorities, but was unsuccessful in returning to the home to save his family.
A fatal shooting of a hunter in Rapides Parish will not result in any charges. Michelle Southern reports.
