A second bacteria has been identified in connection with a salmonella outbreak in Caldwell Parish. Public Officer of Health for Central Louisiana, Dr. David Holcombe, says the combination of the two is likely why so many people got very sick from the jambalaya at a fundraiser..:

Famed New Orleans Chef John Bash has stepped down from the restaurant company he founded amid a sexual harassment investigation. Besh suddenly became the focus of a scandal following a Times-Picayune report of harassment allegations throughout the Besh Restaurant Group. The news comes after Harrah’s New Orleans Casino announced it was cutting ties with Besh. The group includes 12 acclaimed eateries in and around New Orleans, and Besh has appeared in shows such as Top Chef and Iron Chef.

Singer and former child actor Corey Feldman was charged with misdemeanor weed possession by the northeast Louisiana town of Mangham . Feldman and members of his crew, who were also charged, were in town for a gig in Monroe. Mangham Police Chief Perry Fleming says cops pulled over an RV driven by Feldman Saturday…:
