A Shreveport woman was arrested this morning on cruelty to juvenile charges, after being accused of throwing her 17 month old across a room. Shreveport Police Cpl Breck Scott says when the child arrived at the hospital they were able to determine that the child had NOT sustained injuries from being thrown across a room..:

Twenty-five year-old Gabrielle Kirkendahl of Shreveport reportedly threw the child as a form of punishment.
