Today, Bruce Greenstein, the former head of the state department of health and hospitals, pleads not guilty to allegations he lied under oath about awarding a Medicaid contract to a company of former co-worker friends. The Jindal administration has since cancelled the contract with CNSI. Greenstein was indicted on nine counts of perjury.

The Shreveport Police Department says a 25-year-old woman is under arrest on cruelty to juveniles after being accused of throwing her 17 month old across a room. Cpl Breck Scott says cops responded to scene after getting the call early this morning…:
