Search warrants regarding the death of an 18 year old LSU fraternity pledge indicate that Max Gruver may have taken part in a drinking quiz game the night before he died. Search warrants for the Phi Delta Theta house led police to seize several bottles of hard liquor, beer cans, and security cameras. According to the warrant Gruver’s death “appeared to be an overdose of alcoholic beverages.” The LSU student died on September 14th following a night of pledge activities.

State Police are investigating an officer involved shooting in West Monroe that left one person dead Monday afternoon. Trooper Michael Reichardt (RIKE-ART) says Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s deputy made a vehicle stop on Guyton Road….

The suspect who was killed has been identified as 22-year-old Marquinton Brooks of Monroe.

After a vehicle crashed through a fence at the Slidell Municipal Airport police arrested 43 year old Kevin Bolton. Slidell Detective Daniel Seuzeneau (SUSAN-OH) says they received a call yesterday morning of a vehicle striking a utility pole. When police arrived says Bolton told authorities why he was in such a hurry.
