8:30 LRN Newscast September 30

The LSU student that went missing was found Friday evening. Hunters came across a body in a wooded area just off of campus, south of Ben Hur Road. Authorities think the remains are 21 year old Michael Nickelotte Junior who was last seen on September 18th. Nickelotte’s father posted a Facebook statement saying, “We must now begin the sorrowful process of honoring his short life with us laying him to his eternal rest.” DNA tests will be done for positive identification of the body found.
