Lake Charles Police have arrested former Angola inmate Felton Thompson in a weekend shooting that killed a 10-year-old boy and left his 17-year-old brother in serious condition. Police Chief Don Dixon says Thompson was arrested in New Orleans, but they don’t know why he did it…

Thompson was on parole after serving 24 years of a 99-year prison sentence for armed robbery.

The man and woman wanted in connection with the stabbing death of an 82-year-old Shreveport woman have been arrested in San Angelo, Texas. Authorities say 25-year-old Roy Narcisse and 25-year-old Kiana Deraneka of Ville Platte were the final two people to see Kathleen Cates alive as they performed yard work at her home.
