Additional fallout is coming from Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser. He’s in Europe this week promoting travel to Louisiana, and the direct flights into New Orleans, but says he has decided not to attend the Saints game at Wembley this Sunday as originally planned because the players did not stand during the national anthem at the Panthers game.

Five teenagers are accused of allegedly destroying more than 50 Christmas trees at the Shady Pond Farm in St. Tammany Parish. Owner Clarke Gernon says these kids caused $6,000 worth of damage by snapping the trees base..:

He says the vandals initially destroyed nine trees several weeks ago, but he was able to capture evidence of the latest crime with surveillance video. Four of the teens face criminal damage to property, which is a felony.

Now that Senate GOP leaders have decided not to vote on a bill that would repeal Obamacare, Louisiana’s Junior Senator John Kennedy says it’s time for Congress to focus on tax reform. He says those who disagree with him feel like the more money you throw at government, the better it will be able to take care of people, but he feels people need to be able to take care of themselves…:
